Gambling: What’s the problem?

If you think gambling might affect you or someone you care for, help is out there. Come and get tips and support from people who understand.


Taking place at Three Trees Community Centre, Chelmsley Wood, Monday 20 June 10:00am-1:00pm Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust are offering free support and advice surrounding gambling and the impact it can have on a person’s life. Co-produced by experts with lived experience and gambling practitioners, this three-hour session will explore:

  • how to spot the signs that gambling is a concern
  • myths around gambling
  • how gambling can be a hidden harm
  • how to guide people towards self-help and further support in Birmingham and Solihull


Gambling can happen to anyone irrespective of age, gender, or financial circumstances, although it may feel like you are powerless to stop gambling, help is out there, and we are here to support you.
