Notice of election - Assembly of Governors

The trust gives notice that it will hold elections to the Assembly of Governors
of the Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust.

Elections are to be held for the following positions:

• Public Birmingham – 3 vacancies
• Carer – 2 vacancies
• Service user Birmingham  - 2 vacancies
• Service user Solihull – 1 vacancy

• Staff non-medical clinical – 1 vacancy
• Staff medical – 1 vacancy
• Staff non-clinical – 1 vacancy

Ballot papers will be distributed to qualifying members on Wednesday, October 19, 2011.

Completed ballot papers must be received by the independent scrutineer (Electoral Reform Services Ltd) by the close of poll, noon on Friday, November 11, 2011.

The regulations governing this election can be obtained from the Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foudantion Trust, 50 Summer Hill Road, Birmingham, B1 3RB.

If candidates do submit a nomination and then decide to withdraw, this must be done in writing, and witnessed, to the returning officer no later than 12 noon on Friday, September 30, 2011.
