Over 120 people from the local community, organisations and staff from BSMHFT came together on January 21 to celebrate the launch of an exciting new project that aims to address some of the challenges and discrimination faced by our service users.
The 300 Voices project is a partnership between BSMHFT and Time to Change that seeks to engage with young African and Caribbean men by enabling them to have their voice heard about their experiences of inpatient care.
During the year-long pilot, 300 men will be interviewed along with 900 staff from our Trust and partner organisations. Following these interviews key themes will be explored and a bespoke model created to address some of the issues raised.
