Service users at the Melissa Suite, Oleaster, have been busy making friendship-style bracelets to raise money for UK mental health charity, Mind.
Supported by staff, everyone on the ward has been involved to make and sell the bracelets, which are made by weaving threads together and usually given to a friend as a token of friendship. Made with bright, vibrant colours, the suite has produced bracelets for anyone to wear, making them a great gift for one of your friends or even for yourself.
One of the service users taking part said: “I have found making the bracelets to be very therapeutic, but we are also raising money for a good cause.”
If you would like to help out by purchasing a bracelet, please contact
Nicky Wadge. All bracelets are individually priced.
