The dementia strategy for Birmingham and Solihull 2013-16

‘Give me something to believe in’, the dementia strategy for Birmingham and Solihull, has been developed by the clinical commissioning groups that cover Birmingham and Solihull, Birmingham City Council and Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council.

It brings together what people with dementia, their families and carers, told us about their experience of services and what they felt would meet their needs as well as setting what we have currently in the context of national and regional developments.

In order to share the strategy and to demonstrate what is happening in Birmingham and Solihull to make the vision the strategy presents a reality, an event is being held at Birmingham City Football Ground on Monday, 19 May 2014, 12.30pm until 4pm.
