Time to vote for Time to Change

Published: 03/07/2014

Time to Change, England's biggest programme to challenge mental health stigma and discrimination which BSMHFT continues to support, has been put through to the finals of this year’s National Lottery Awards and it’s now down to the public vote to decide the winner.

Time to change

The awards are an annual search to find the UK’s favourite Lottery-funded projects, and they recognise and celebrate the difference that Lottery-funded projects make to communities across the UK. Time to Change has been nominated for the work in phase 1 of the programme when they received £16million from Big Lottery Funding.

Time to Change helps to drive forward positive changes in public attitudes and behaviour, and to empower, support and inspire people with mental health problems to be open about their experiences and educate others.

As an organisation, BSMHFT has worked closely in partnership with Time to Change on various initiatives to encourage everyone to challenge mental health stigma and discrimination.

The public vote is open now and will close at midnight on Wednesday 23 July. You can help Time to Change win by voting for them here.
