Join one of the biggest parades in the world this Sunday to celebrate St Patrick’s Day. Our Positive Mental Health Group will be part of the walking parade and we hope you will join in!
The St Patrick's Day festival kicked off on Friday 6 March and culminates with the iconic parade through Digbeth on Sunday, March 15. The parade is now the third largest in the world, only behind Dublin and New York (the biggest), with more than 80,000 people turning out to celebrate the occasion last year.
The group, being led by Lead Governor Faheem Uddin, will be meeting at the start line at Camp Hill, Digbeth at 11am. The parade starts at 12 noon with a confetti blast and takes about ninety minutes to snake along Digbeth Hight Street to the Bullring and back out of town along the other side, past The Irish Centre.
