Are you aged 15-17? Interested in working for the NHS? If so, you’re in luck!
Our teams are running two ‘Insights Programmes’ in July to give 15–17-year-olds an insight into the many different professions we have within our Trust.
We know that for many teenagers, the thought of picking your future career can be pretty daunting – that’s why we are here to help.
Whether you have an interest in mental health nursing, psychology, HR, Finance or Occupational Health to name just a few, there are many clinical and non-clinical roles that make up Team BSMHFT.
If you’d like to get a better insight into a specific career and learn more about the many exciting roles we have here at the Trust, we are now accepting application forms to take part in our Insights Programmes.
There are 20 places for our clinical and 20 places for our non-clinical Insights Programmes, but hurry… candidates will be selected on a first come, first serve basis.
Prior to filling out the form, please ensure you meet the following criteria.
- Aged 15-17 years old.
- Attend a school/sixth form/college in Birmingham or Solihull.
- Resident of Birmingham or Solihull.
The closing date for the application form is 5 June 2023. If you do not hear from us two weeks after this date, unfortunately your application form has been unsuccessful.

The Insights Programmes will be held at Uffculme Centre, Queensbridge Road, Moseley, Birmingham, B13 8QY from 3-14 July 2023.
