Charity ambassadors

Lucy Okill, Induction and Fundamental Training Lead, is based at the Uffculme Centre, Moseley. She has actively supported Caring Minds since 2013 and is now a fully-fledged staff ambassador.

“I support our Trust charity, Caring Minds, because of the work they do to help our service users, carers and staff within the Trust. Service user experience is our top priority at the Trust, and by supporting Caring Minds we can help to raise money for equipment, research, day trips and projects for music and gardening."

Waheed, an Associate Non-Executive Director at our Trust, is a management consultant working in the public and voluntary sectors. He graduated from the London School of Economics, is a fellow of the RSA and a member of the Association of Corporate Governance Practitioners.

"Caring Minds is a fantastic charity that provides funding for a range of projects that support people suffering from mental health issues. Mental health affects 1 in 4 people and it's important that we find innovative ways to enable people to access services which would not normally be funded through the NHS, and that's where Caring Minds comes in. The charity raises money through a variety of avenues and would welcome people to carry out fundraising events to raise vital funds to support the projects."
