Depression ranges from feeling fed-up and miserable, which we all experience now and again, to feeling so sad and low that it becomes difficult to carry on with your daily life.
This more severe form of depression, often called ‘clinical depression’, can involve symptoms such as loss of interest and motivation, poor concentration, tearfulness and feelings of worthlessness and guilt.
It can also include other physical symptoms such as anxiety, problems sleeping, reduced or increased appetite and weight and a lack of energy.
