Option 2: By making a specific written request
If you cannot find the information you are looking for or it is not currently available electronically in our publication scheme, please contact the Trust FOI Office to request this information via one of the following methods:
By email: bsmhft.foioffice@nhs.net
By letter:
FOI Office
Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust
52 Queensbridge Road, Moseley, Birmingham. B13 8QY.
Valid requests under the Act must be made in writing and contain a contact name and an email or postal address for reply.
You will get the best result if your request is as clear and specific as possible about the information you want rather than asking general questions. It is important to note that the focus of the Act is about requesting recorded information that the Trust may hold.
Before making a request, you might find it useful to consult guidance issued by the Information Commissioner’s Office on how to make a valid request. If you still require advice, or would like help with formulating a request, please do not hesitate to contact the Trust FOI Office on 0121 301 1370.
How to provide feedback on our FOI services
It is important to us that our FOI services (publication scheme and how we handle requests) meets your needs. If you have any feedback (good or bad) or suggestions on how we can improve our services, please contact the FOI Office as above or complete an FOI feedback form.
