Congratulations to Forward House who were chosen as our Team of the Month for April.
Forward House is an intensive community rehabilitation inpatient unit for adults who experience psychosis. Between December 2022 and March 2023, Forward House had to close due to essential maintenance, but throughout this challenging time the team provided excellent care to service users and each other. During this period, they relocated service users to other Trust sites, with staff members moving to new wards and continuing the recovery work with service users.
Congratulations also to our runners up for April’s award, our Information Governance Team who take great care of our service users and staff data, the dedicated team at Laurel ward who strive to improve experiences and outcomes for their service users and Birmingham and Solihull Staff Wellbeing Hub for offering psychological support and wellbeing workshops to NHS and social care staff.
Our Deputy Chief Executive and Executive Director for Strategy, People and Partnerships, Patrick Nyarumbu MBE visited Forward House to present them with their award and to thank them for all of their hard work.
