We would like to wish all our service users, patients, their families and colleagues celebrating today a very Happy Lunar New Year!
The Lunar New Year, also known as Chinese New Year, is a two-week festival marking the beginning of a new Lunar year. It is often celebrated with gifts, fireworks, dancing and spending time with family. In Chinese tradition, each year is represented by one of 12 animals, which feature in the Chinese zodiac.
2024 marks the change from the Year of the Rabbit to the Year of the Dragon. Fun fact: If you’re born in the year of the dragon, which is 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000 and 2012, this year is looking like a good year for you.
