Postgraduate doctors (junior doctors) are taking industrial action from 7am, Friday 11 August until 7am, Tuesday 15 August as part of their dispute with the Government over pay and conditions.
This industrial action will take place across the healthcare system, impacting work in the general acute hospitals, including A&E. You will be contacted if your appointment needs to be changed.
GP practices will continue to be open during the junior doctors strike. Please continue to attend your GP and dental appointments, unless you are contacted and told otherwise.
