Congratulations to Sage ward who were crowned Team of the Month for May.
Sage Ward is for male service users with dementia and frailty. The team was asked to support a service user with severe learning difficulties as his current placement was closing. Other teams across the country said they were unable to support but the team on Sage worked hard to meet their needs and make them feel welcome and safe.
Well done too, to our four runners up for May’s award, Rookery Gardens team, a partnership between BSMHFT and Birmingham Mind and who work together to provide a high-quality service to our service users, the compassionate and dedicated Blythe ward team and our Contracts team who go above and beyond to support staff and service users.
Our Chief Executive, Róisín Fallon-Williams visited the Sage ward team to present them with their award and to thank them for the compassion they show to the service users they care for.
