Our final staff shoutout of the week shines brightly on Mollo Sidhu, Healthcare Assistant who was nominated by Nicholas Wareing. Nicholas said:

“Mollo is the person who will go the extra mile for her unit, staff and service users. She will do her duties without question and with the ability of having the foresight to problems before they escalate. Mollo is a person who can be totally trusted by all and deserves to be recognised for what she does for the Trust and beyond.”

Mollo said:

“I am an Indian from the Punjab. I was bought up with Sikh values so strongly believe in equality and standing up for what is right. I appreciate honesty and will always challenge injustice.

I love languages and have basic knowledge of three Asian languages as well as learning French at school and learnt some Polish and Spanish as an adult. I think being bilingual as a child helped train my brain.

Obviously, I love Indian food… who doesn’t? I’m an artist who has travelled around some of the world looking at my favourite paintings, sculpture and architecture. I love reading, Anita Desai ranks amongst the best authors. I love old school Indian films and music and spent my youth going to Bhangra gigs, I love to dance.”
