This Strategy, Planning and Business Development is our Team of the Month for March. This team is one of the smallest teams in the Trust, but punches above its weight in delivering benefits for colleagues and service users. In the last 18 months it’s led the Trust’s responses to four complex tenders with a 100% success rate, prompting some really positive feedback.
The team led on the Trust Strategy development, earning the first Recovery for All Quality Mark for demonstrating the principles of recovery and co-production. This was in recognition of their work in involving service users in the creation of the strategy. The team continue to keep the strategy alive and relevant. On recent example is a workshop they organised in January, bringing together 60+ senior leaders and managers, and importantly, 14 Experts by Experience – people who have recent personal experience of using or caring for someone using our services.
Congratulations too, to our runners up for March’s award. This month judges struggled to choose a top three from the nominations we received and for the first time we had a top five: Laurel Ward, Tamarind; Security at Ardenleigh; Youth First; and North Hub Dementia and Frailty. All of these teams were worthy of recognition for the support and compassion they show to our service users and their colleagues.
Our Executive Director for Strategy, People and Partnerships, Patrick Nyarumbu visited the Strategy, Planning and Business Development team to present them with their award and to thank them for all of their hard work.
Whatever the role each team plays, we want to recognise those who bring alive our values of Compassionate, Inclusive and Committed every day while they’re at work. If you know a hardworking, dedicated team that is having a positive impact on service users, carers and colleagues please nominate them for Team of Month by completing the short nomination form explaining why your chosen team would be worthy winners of the award.
