Gold: Stephen Wazak-Hayes

Working for the Learning and Development team at the Uffculme, Stephen Wazak-Hayes has been a true ambassador of the charity.

Every year Stephen supports the Caring Minds Christmas raffle and puts in a lot of effort to contact companies to get amazing prizes to help raise money for the charity, in 2023 they raised over £800. He has also hosted book sales and Easter raffles which have in turn also raised hundreds of pounds in the process.

Stephen encourages all staff to get involved with Caring Minds activities, whether that be contributing to prizes, buying tickets, or attending events. As well as being an excellent manager, he still takes time to go over and above for our charity, ensuring that all funds raised go towards areas that need it the most.

Silver: Jasmine Martin

Jasmine Martin has been a constant source of support and guidance to the charity over many years and has been instrumental in bringing it to where it is today.

She is not afraid to speak up and ask teams to consider the charity, when they may be considering fundraising activities, or to champion Caring Minds when dealing with partners and suppliers where the opportunity may arise.

She has helped many fundraisers over the years, on top of her substantive role as Head of Financial Services for the Trust. She is passionate about the Trust and the work that we do, and equally passionate about the charity.

Bronze: Deborah Tomlin-Taylor

Deborah Tomlin-Taylor is a Senior Art Psychotherapist at our Ardenleigh Women’s Service.

Deborah always highlights the difference that charity funds can make, most recently the charity-funded art gallery located at Ardenleigh. She secured funding from Caring Minds to create this project which enabled service users and staff to come together to get creative, break barriers and produce a beautiful hallway covered in art.

Deborah has talked about the contributions from the charity and the reality that such a project wouldn’t have been possible without the generous donation going toward funding the materials.
