Gold: Annika Sidhu
Annika is a compassionate Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioner (MHWP) that will go above and beyond to support patients with their needs. After joining our North Community Mental Health Hub as a trainee 18 months ago, Annika has made rapid progress.
She always works flexibly to meet the needs of her patients, even when it means going the extra mile. Annika has reinstated therapeutic support groups that had not been provided for many years and she also facilitated a women’s group and relaxation/ mindfulness group to aid recovery.
She is incredibly passionate about her role and has spoken to various colleagues and partners about the benefit MHWPs can have for community patients with psychological difficulties.
Annika is well liked and well respected and her team cannot wait to watch her career in the NHS bloom!
Silver: Terence Lindsay-Moore
A Clinical Housekeeper based at Rookery Gardens, Terry Lindsay-Moore started his role mid-2023 and what an impact he has made already.
Terry is a kind and gentle character and brings a positive energy to the ward and his team. Terry is committed to his role, he does his own research and teaches himself and others on new policies on what the ward needs to do when it comes to clinical housekeeping. Any question in relation to cleaning and policies – Terry is your guy.
The work Terry does behind the scenes to support this team and service users is vast. Despite his busy schedule, he always takes the time to check in with people and their wellbeing, even if it’s a gesture like making them a cup of tea to see how their day is going.
His team would all agree that “the world needs more Terrys.”
