Gold: Perinatal Team East – Little Bromwich Centre
The Perinatal East team consistently demonstrate an outstanding service for our families throughout their perinatal journey.
Their compassionate approach towards expectant mothers and families has created a supportive environment that goes beyond medical care. Their inclusive practices ensure that every individual feels valued and heard.
Not only do they look after the mental health and wellbeing of the mothers and families, but also their staff members too.
Silver: Endeavour House
The team working at Endeavour House has provided exceptional care this past year, despite encountering significant hurdles along the way. Throughout an 18-month period, the team showed incredible resilience and unity, ensuring their operations remained effective, even when a large proportion of staff were off with prolonged sickness and vacancies remained high.
The team show a deep concern for the welfare of our service users, not only fulfilling their own duties, but extending their help to support neighbouring acute wards when needed.
Bronze: North Hub Community Mental Health Team
The North Hub Community Mental Health Team has worked ambitiously over the year to improve the quality of service that they provide to our service users.
The team has worked tightly as a Hub and a particular emphasis has been placed on further collaboration between disciplines in assessing and care planning for patients.
Northcroft has a wide, diverse, and expanding range of clinicians and professionals.
The team completed a Quality Improvement project on reducing the use of emergency FP10s which are prescription forms to help eligible patients correctly claim free NHS prescriptions and avoid penalty charges. This resulted in positive outcomes and changes to practice, safer prescribing and more effective medication management.
