We work with our service users to support them in achieving their personal recovery goals.
Recovery is a journey towards mental wellbeing, and a sense of purpose and hope in life. It could mean that service users no longer have symptoms of mental ill health, or that they are living with these symptoms. Either way, they will be able to cope with the challenges of life and manage their daily needs.
Remember that everyone’s journey towards recovery is different and goals may include:
- managing your mental health
- living independently
- feeling part of a community, being involved with things that are important to them
- volunteering
- find a job or a college course
- being more physically active
